STEP 3 -
Selecting materials SELECTING THE RIGHT PAINT
The extra cost for good quality paint is well invested against the
frustration of a poor paint job. For best results. select a paint that is warranted to
cover in one coat and is fade, stain and spot resistant.
MIXING PAINT
All paints must be thoroughly mixed before use and stirred
periodically during painting. The initial mixing may be done by hand with a paint paddle.
An alternative is to pour paint back and forth between the can and a
Hyde paint pail until all solids are gone from the bottom.
For faster and more even mixing, use a Hyde paint mixer in your
electric drill (43460, 43440. 43450).
